Position Overview:

We are seeking an eDiscovery Case Coordinator to support company matters and potentially grow into the role of an eDiscovery Project Manager (eDPM). 

  • The selected candidate will shadow experienced (eDPMs) to learn their specific skill sets and gain hands-on exposure to the eDiscovery workflow. 
  • This role is a great fit for someone who has some eDiscovery experience, enjoys staying organized, and can confidently juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience Level: 3 years of relevant eDiscovery / litigation support experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day eDiscovery tasks across multiple active matters, with guidance from company eDPMs
  • Coordinate with attorneys, vendors, and internal teams on collections, processing, review support, and productions
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and matter status (including maintaining trackers and spreadsheets)
  • Help build and maintain matter timelines, task lists, and simple status reports
  • Monitor processing, review progress, and production schedules and escalate risks early
  • Perform basic quality control checks on processed data and productions using checklists
  • Maintain matter documentation (decision logs, production logs, chain of custody documentation) in an organized and defensible way
  • Provide timely status updates to case teams and flag issues in a clear, solution-oriented way
  • Troubleshoot basic workflow issues and know when to escalate to supervisor, eDPMs, vendors, or technical support
  • Follow the company’s eDiscovery workflows and help ensure processes are consistent, repeatable, and defensible


Required Qualifications:

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal operations, or legal technology (some hands-on exposure required)
  • Basic understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle (collection, processing, review, production)
  • Comfort working with attorneys and/or vendors in a service-oriented support role
  • Familiarity with Relativity, RelativityOne, or a similar review platform (as a user, reviewer support, or admin support)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking, prioritizing quickly, and staying calm in high-stress situations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills (email/Teams updates, status tracking)
  • Intermediate spreadsheet skills (Excel) to maintain trackers, logs, and basic reports


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RelativityOne and/or Nuix Discover-- Ability to run basic searches, reports, and exports in the review tool (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Extremely Beneficial: familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI assistants) and experience writing effective prompts
  • Prior experience supporting multiple matters or shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to ESI protocols, protective orders, and production specifications
  • Exposure to data processing workflows and exception handling

Engagement Structure:

  • Contractor will be assigned to multiple matters as needs arise
  • Workload will vary week to week depending on active matters
  • Contractor should be available during normal business hours and responsive to email/Teams (some deadlines may require quick turnaround)


Summary:

  • This role is best suited for an early-career eDiscovery professional who has foundational experience and is ready to build deeper project management skills.
  • You will be supported by experienced eDPMs, learn the company’s eDiscovery workflow through shadowing, and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.


Top 3 must have HARD skill requirements:

  • eDiscovery (do not ChatGPT) – must have clear experience litigation support legal technology review platforms 


Good to have :

  • RelativityOne or Nuix
  • Any AI tools and (CoPilot and Excel) – Create “Agents”, writing prompts Exposure 
  • 3+ years' experience required


The hiring range for this position is $30 to $35.88 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
