- The Sr. IT Support Analyst will work in a very busy team-oriented environment.
- The Sr. IT Support Analyst responsibilities will be supporting the day-to-day tasks of software compliance, including tracking, maintaining, fulfilling service tickets, and coordinating software installation and reviewing all types of software across the organization.
These tasks include but are not limited to:
- Recommend the best licensing options.
- Build a more structured and efficient approach to software oversight.
- Ensure compliance, provisioning cloud software, analyzing consumption patterns to identify unused licenses and recommend the best licensing options.
- Use available tools and services available for license management (Saas, and cloud cost consumption).
- Create processes and use technologies for managing and optimizing the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of software applications.
- Assist in developing and running scripts for software audits and improving visibility into our licensing and application usage.
- Assisting Ticketing Requests and reporting.
- To be successful in this role, you’ll need to work collaboratively with coworkers and demonstrate critical thinking skills. The Sr. IT Support Analyst will prioritize work assignments, be detail oriented and have strong communication skills.
- This position will assist with the implementation of the Software Asset Management (SAM) system.
Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience.
- 7-10 years’ experience in Software Compliance and Licensing.
- National Helpdesk Certification will be A+ but not necessary.
- Knowledge on a proficient level in MSOffice, Adobe, Snag-it, SCCM Scripts and Titanium.
- Help Desk Required Knowledge of: Software licensing compliance; help desk application software; hardware, networking and software support techniques, operations and usage, and standard features and functions of latest personal computer operating system; office productivity suite; and advanced operations of laptops, projectors, digital cameras, video cameras, and mobile devices.
- General Required Skills and Abilities to: Use independent judgment and exercise discretion; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work independently and in a team environment; lead and train; and operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.
- Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.
- Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
The hiring range for this position is $59 to $66 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
