2118 Strategic Partnerships Manager

Duties: 

  • Manage large vendor partnerships, coordinating and collaborating with 3rd party vendors and operational counterparts.
  • Work closely & effectively with team members and key projects stakeholders, including sourcing, finance, product management, engineering and operations.
  • Effectively manage schedule to regularly attend meetings and deliver on accountable work.
  • Manage large, multi-year program executions with complex dependencies across multiple teams. 
  • Own coordination, timeline planning, cross-functional meetings and follow-ups to ensure successful delivery of a complex execution space. 
  • Design framework & processes to facilitate cross team collaboration. 
  • Provide support across multiple projects to ensure high-quality releases. 
  • Work to quickly become well-versed in the engineering teams product/domain space.
  • Provide input on requirements from the perspective of an end-user. 
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative reporting to stakeholders.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Subject expertise in the engineering teams product/domain space.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to multitask. 
  • Dynamic and very adaptable to a fast-paced changing environment. 
  • Able to balance conflicting priorities and negotiate trade-offs across multiple initiatives.
  • Communication skills - able to explain complex concepts both verbally and via written communications, including technical concepts. 
  • Communication skills - able to proactively and effectively communicate goals, updates and deliverables to stakeholders in order to drive outcomes.

  • Focused on learning, growing and developing new skill-sets.


Hard Skills:

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, etc). 
  • Familiarity with the Identity, Safety and Fraud Management methodologies.

 

Type of Experience:

  • 6-8 years experience being a Partnerships/Vendor and/or Program Manager; driving/leading medium to large cross-functional efforts for Product & Engineering teams.
  • Experience with cross-functional programs and navigating challenging stakeholders (influence without authority). 
  • Experience in large contract negotiations and renewals, working with Legal, Finance, and Sourcing. 
  • Experience in performance management with partners, vendors, or people management.
  • Some experience in Trust, Privacy, Safety, Identity or Fraud. 
  • Experience working in start-up or fast paced, do-it-yourself environment.


The hiring range for this position is $76 to $86 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
