1632 CRM Data Architect

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain the data pipelines that support Public Policy with relevant, actionable, and up-to-date insights. 
  • This includes integrations between the company’s data warehouse, 3rd party marketing and advocacy tools, and our Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM).
  • Contribute to the data and tooling strategy that continually evolves our tech stack through feedback and relationship building with the Policy team and CRM team.
  • Represent Policy Comms in cross functional efforts with other technical counterparts in CRM, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Strategy. 
  • Collaborate with these teams to streamline our shared CRM's architecture, performance, and usability.
  • Create ad-hoc automated and semi-automated systems and integrations to reduce the need for manual data entry where engineering support is unavailable. 


Requirements

  • 8+ years expertise in data architecture, infrastructure, or data engineering
  • 5+ years experience in CRM data design for implementation for end-users with diverse needs, i.e. multiple languages, geographies, product lines/business units, data accessibility and visibility with corresponding risk management.
  • Expert with SQL 
  • Strong experience with Python
  • Expert in building and maintaining data pipelines that transform data to be ingested into a CRM instance, relating data across database schemas and data fields to objects, data fields, page layouts, and reporting capabilities.
  • Talent for breaking down complex technical concepts into common language and acting as a bridge between technical and departmental stakeholders.
  • Experience working with complex and big data systems across a multitude of relationships and metrics.
  • Ability to apply a creative and nuanced perspective to look beyond common data indicators in order to meet business goals.

The hiring range for this position is $55 to $65 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
