Field Service Technician - CNC Machines - Edmonton, AB.

What you’ll be working on: CNC machines and lathes at customer sites

Where: Based in Edmonton with some travel to SK and MB

Type of role: Permanent field service position with a national equipment distributor

We’re looking for a professional mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting and knows CNC machinery. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing CNC equipment at customer sites.

Wage: $70k - $90k + depending on experience + OT + monthly incentive based on billable hours

What You’ll Do:

• Install, troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and lathes at customer sites
• Install and commission new and used equipment
• Identify faults involving mechanical components, wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
• Perform routine service and preventative maintenance 
• Document maintenance and service work 

What You Bring:

• Background in machining, industrial maintenance, millwright work, or mechanical repair
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with CNC machines and lathes
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Experience using testing tools, gauges, and hand tools
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with FANUC controls preferred
• Valid driver’s licence with a good driving history
• Willingness to travel when required
