Field Service Technician - CNC Machines - Edmonton, AB.
What you’ll be working on: CNC machines and lathes at customer sites
Where: Based in Edmonton with some travel to SK and MB
Type of role: Permanent field service position with a national equipment distributor

We’re looking for a professional mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting and knows CNC machinery. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing CNC equipment at customer sites.
Wage: $70k - $90k + depending on experience + OT + monthly incentive based on billable hours

What You’ll Do:
- Install, troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and lathes at customer sites
- Install and commission new and used equipment
- Identify faults involving mechanical components, wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
- Perform routine service and preventative maintenance
- Document maintenance and service work
What You Bring:
- Background in machining, industrial maintenance, millwright work, or mechanical repair
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with CNC machines and lathes
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Experience using testing tools, gauges, and hand tools
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with FANUC controls preferred
- Valid driver’s licence with a good driving history
- Willingness to travel when required
