We are looking for a Crushing Applications Specialist to join our team! You will be the primary resource for our customer and sales in representing multiple crushing product lines. Perform demonstrations, training, control programs, inventory, and customer orders by reviewing and creating quotes

As a Crushing Specialist, YOU will:

  • Uphold a "Safety First" culture; strictly adhere to HSE policies during demonstrations and site visits.
  • Oversee Crushing and Screening machinery inventory and coordinate strategic stock movement between branches to meet demand.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for aggregate processing equipment, providing technical support to the Sales Team.
  • Analyze customer specs to generate accurate, competitive quotes and collaborate with manufacturers for technical accuracy.
  • Review maintenance data and repair history to identify performance trends; translate technical data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Monitor market shifts and competitor activity to identify new business growth opportunities.
  • Lead the end-to-end process for equipment demos and commissioning; coordinate complex logistics, transport, site prep, and technician deployment.

 

Must-haves for this role:

  • Minimum of 5 years of applications experience in Aggregates Crushing Industry
  • Understanding of aggregate product flow and able to demonstrate proficiency in electronic solutions (ie. Metso Bruno and Aggflo)
  • Customer centric with solid understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment repair options and the effects on customer's business/downtime
  • Solid understanding of all Crushing component solutions on the market.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building/management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse cross functional groups
  • Proven sales and financial acumen with the ability to grow and develop in sales to support Toromont’s crushing strategies
  • Self-directed, self-starter and flexible team player with initiative and a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Effective time-management and planning skills with a sense of urgency
  • Adaptable to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and other customer based systems
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of business needs
