We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Document Control Specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys being at the center of major project activity.

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 DOE annually
What You’ll Do:
- Own and maintain the project’s document control system and workflows.
- Receive, log, track, and distribute all drawings, documents, and correspondence.
- Enforce version control, naming conventions, formatting standards, and metadata accuracy.
- Keep project registers, logs, and document databases fully up to date.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, contractors, and the client to ensure timely reviews, approvals, and responses.
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to prevent delays.
- Prepare and issue transmittals to contractors and client stakeholders.
- Ensure approved documents are properly communicated and distributed to the right teams.
- Archive documentation in alignment with contractual and corporate requirements.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance reviews.
- Train project staff on document control tools, processes, and best practices.
- Prepare reporting summaries, KPIs, and document-related status updates for management.
- Track and report monthly hours and disbursements, responding to client inquiries and supporting final invoicing.
What You Bring

Minimum 3 years’ experience in document control within engineering, construction, or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency with document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex project environment.
- Must be a self-directed professional with strong problem-solving abilities.
