Vice President of Human Resources
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources with a proven track record of success in leading HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and objectives while supporting a large, multi-location workforce.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Shape and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build, empower, and lead a high-performing HR team.
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and proactively manage organizational risk.
- Guide the design and administration of compensation, benefits, and employee relations programs.
- Lead HR technology and analytics initiatives to support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with senior leadership to advance organizational culture, leadership development, and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to obtain SHRM certifications (SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR) and/or possess an HR-related MBA preferred
Experience
- 7–10+ years of HR leadership experience with demonstrated strategic impact
Skills
- Strong knowledge of current and evolving labor laws
- Understanding of ethical and best HR practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Power BI, Copilot) and HRIS systems
- Leadership, counseling, change management, and collaboration skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel regularly to local office locations
- Ability to pass an HR scenario-based written and oral assessment
