OVERVIEW OF

POSITION:


Responsible for all aspects of the

corporate general and cost

accounting functions. Critical role in

the company's month-end close,

financial reporting, compliance and

control including: G/L; inventory;

audit as well as Financial Planning

and Analysis support and special

projects.

REPORTS TO: Assistant Controller SALARY BAND: hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure all journal entries are recorded for US locations as assigned, i.e., standard, recurring,

adjustment, accruals and ensure proper supporting documentation.

2. Perform monthly closing procedures for US locations as assigned, including account analysis and

balance sheet reconciliations, such as inventory, accrued expenses, accounts payable, intercompany

accounting, treasury to ensure financial statements are complete, accurate, and compliant.

3. Support consolidated, mgt reporting, private equity partner and banking core deliverables.

4. Support financial planning and analysis including the budget process.

5. File sales and use tax returns; assist with establishing new state tax accounts.

6. Maintain and update the Fixed Asset listing in Bloomberg (BNA), including mass revaluations and

master data cleansing.

7. Assist with transition of lease software from Bloomberg (BNA) to Visual Lease.

8. Support annual audit.

9. Contribute/participate in development/maintenance of new policies, procedures and process

improvement, operational efficiency /internal control initiatives.

10. Leverage Chempax/ERP and technology to streamline processes to ensure timely delivery of high-

quality financial information and strong controls.

11. Support acquisitions/divestures and other strategic business objectives.

12. Perform other duties/projects assigned.

 Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required

 Demonstrated ability to independently resolve moderate to complex problems

 Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple

responsibilities;

 Good analytical and problem-solving skills,

 Detailed - ability to thoroughly analyze and identify outliers or errors in data sets.


 Project management skills, and attention to detail required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Undergraduate in Finance/Accounting. Cost Accounting experience mandatory.

 Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience. Audit experience a plus.

 Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office technical skills as well as ERP experience

 International Accounting required.

 Thorough understanding of accounting concepts for US (GAAP) required with functional

application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) preferred.

 Experience using Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook) required.

 Experience using fixed asset software, preferably Bloomberg (BNA) required.

 Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
