The Staff / Senior Accountant will support the monthly close and financial reporting process while assisting with technical accounting and compliance initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries
• Prepare and support footnote disclosures for financial reporting
• Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile intercompany activity and coordinate with international entities
• Assist with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
• Support the development and enhancement of internal controls and procedures
• Coordinate and assist with external audit processes
• Support internal audit initiatives and ongoing SOX compliance efforts
• Perform additional accounting and reporting duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Audit background strongly preferred (Big 4 or national firm experience a plus)
• Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and professional integrity
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in public accounting and/or a public company or large corporate environment
• Exposure to financial reporting and audit processes preferred
