Operations Associate, Corporate Action

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team, focusing on corporate actions. This role offers broad exposure across fixed income products and requires close collaboration with investment, legal, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Process all corporate action activity associated with bonds and bank loans (calls, tenders, exchanges, proxies, amendments, etc.).

·      Collaborate with Legal to review and interpret complex bankruptcy and distressed events.

·      Elect externally on all voluntary corporate action activity using custodian portals and industry platforms.

·      Identify and communicate corporate action activity to the Investment team.

·      Reconcile client positions with multiple custodians and monitor proper posting of accruals and entitlements to accounts.

·      Collect and process documentation for Class Action suits related to bankruptcies.

·      Maintain corporate action records and reporting.

·      Support internal and external reporting requirements.

·      Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree required.

·      1–3 years of experience in a fixed income corporate actions role preferred.

·      Prior knowledge of the bank loan asset class is a plus.

·      Strong Excel skills, detail orientation, and problem-solving ability.

·      Well-organized with excellent communication skills.

·      Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple locations; occasional travel/training may be required.
