New Opportunity – Whole Loan Analyst | Hedge Fund Client | Old Greenwich, CT

We’re partnering with a leading hedge fund client to identify a Whole Loan Analyst to join their growing team in Old Greenwich, CT. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with broad exposure to loan acquisitions, portfolio monitoring, liquidity/trade allocations, repo financing, and operational risk management. The analyst will also collaborate with technology teams to enhance proprietary portfolio management systems, gaining unique insight into both the investment and infrastructure side of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting loan acquisitions and funding processes
• Monitoring portfolio activity, liquidity, and trade allocations
• Working with servicers, custodians, and financing counterparties
• Assisting with P&L, risk management, and reporting functions
• Contributing to system enhancements and data integrity initiatives

Ideal background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills; SQL or programming exposure a plus
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
