Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Controller leads all core financial operations, including AP/AR, job costing, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role ensures adherence to GAAP and maintains strong internal controls across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee treasury activities and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements.
• Review monthly work-in-progress schedules with the executive project management team.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting across all subsidiaries and affiliated entities.
• Monitor AIA billing and manage weekly follow-ups on outstanding receivables with leadership.
• Lead the annual audit in partnership with external auditors.
• Maintain and track debt schedules, ensuring compliance with all covenant requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax obligations, including timely filings.
• Partner with department leaders to maintain accuracy and compliance across financial processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support senior-level decision-making.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
• Five or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience managing and developing a finance or accounting team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, service-oriented approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CCIFP, CMA, or CPA credentials preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform all functions of the role effectively and meet established productivity standards.
