HR Manager

Onsite, Northern Fairfield County

A long-established company whose roots go back over 75 years is looking to add to its Human Resources team. This is a key partner to both leadership and employees and will be a critical player in ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting HR operations. The ideal candidate must be a seasoned professional who is adaptable. Someone who enjoys a variety of functions in a fast-paced, organized environment. Must be able to prioritize workload, meet deadlines while exhibiting exceptional Customer Service to its employees.

Day to day:

• Employee Relations/Performance Management
• Benefits Administration, open enrollment, compliance, reporting, and the ability to build relationships with vendors
• HR Compliance, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, ERISA, OSHA, Legal, workers' comp...
• Maintain & update handbook and employee records
• Work closely with leadership and provide support to all employee levels.
• Improve, develop, and participate in better practices, procedures, and policy

Must Haves:

• BS/BA
• 10+ years of corporate HR experience
• Knowledgeable with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now is a plus)
• Ability to work independently while pitching in as a team member wherever needed.
• Excel & reporting
