We are seeking a results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced and growing organization. This individual will play a key role in supporting operational performance, driving process improvements, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. The role offers exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance activities, with opportunities to collaborate across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive process improvement initiatives and automation across finance systems and reporting.
- Contribute to special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis.
- Develop executive-level presentations for senior leadership.
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare intercompany allocations and billings to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and trend analyses.
- Conduct financial variance analysis to highlight cost optimization opportunities.
- Deliver monthly executive reports with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accuracy of the global chart of accounts and ensure consistency across reporting structures.
- Support internal audit activities and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in M&A-related activities, including purchase price allocations, integration efforts, and audit readiness.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation.
- Collaborate on acquisition-related accounting and restatement efforts.
- Provide support on cross-functional initiatives and other ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including financial reporting and M&A exposure.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Strong skills with reporting tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, or Oracle SmartView/Hyperion.
- Advanced MS Excel capabilities (pivot tables, conditional formulas, index/match, etc.).
- Experience preparing presentations for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Limited domestic travel (up to 5%).
- MBA or progress toward advanced degree a plus.
- Familiarity with GAAP required; IFRS and multi-division or manufacturing experience preferred.
