Responsibilities:
- Manage core accounting responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely general ledger activity
- Support the month end close process through the preparation and posting of journal entries
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures
- Review monthly financial results to identify trends, support accruals, and surface potential risks
- Partner with cross functional teams to understand business activity and ensure proper accounting treatment
- Maintain clear and organized documentation to support audit readiness and transparency
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and evaluate their impact on financial reporting
- Provide audit support by delivering well prepared schedules and responses
- Participate in special projects aimed at improving processes and supporting a rapidly growing finance team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- CPA credential preferred
- Four to six or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in public accounting, including Big Four, strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with large data sets
- Strong analytical skills with sound judgment in applying accounting guidance
- Effective communicator able to clearly explain financial results and drivers
- Curious mindset with an interest in understanding the business beyond the numbers
