Sales Account Executive


SpotOn Productions, a Cincinnati-based corporate and commercial video production company, is seeking applicants for a full-time Sales Account Executive. At SpotOn Productions, we specialize in creating bespoke videos tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of our clients. Our passionate team helps clients showcase their best through video solutions that address real business needs.


In this role, you will be responsible for growing SpotOn Productions’ revenue by:


  • Effectively prospecting to develop new qualified leads
  • Meeting with decision makers within a potential client to properly scope projects (statement of work)
  • Converting prospects into clients (closed deals)
  • Growing business by creating repeat clients (existing & new clients)


To excel in this role, you should be a highly motivated self-starter with a compelling personality and a drive to deliver results, including the initiative to open doors and build relationships from the ground up. Your primary focus will be generating new business through proactive outreach, including cold calls, strategic email prospecting, and leveraging LinkedIn. Your ability to initiate conversations and convert interest into discovery meetings will be critical. You’ll also re-engage past clients who haven’t worked with SpotOn Productions in several years. This part of the role requires thoughtful outreach, curiosity, and the ability to reignite dormant relationships by uncovering new needs. Hustle, dedication, tenacity, grit, and commitment, along with a relentless drive for continuous improvement, are crucial for this role.


Success Looks Like:


  • Book 8–12 qualified meetings per week during the first 90 days
  • Convert 3-4 new clients monthly
  • Reactivate at least 4 previous clients within the first 6 months
  • Achieve 20% of total booked revenue from repeat clients by the end of Year 1

  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office. and presentation software
  • Work with a sales assistant to complete Statements of Work and Proposals


Preferred Background/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in service industry sales, or sales of an intangible offering
  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Experience using creativity in a hobby or job


Compensation and Benefits:


For qualified candidates, the base salary range is $50,000-$60,000 a year plus monthly commission. In addition to base pay, the Sales Account Executive's compensation includes healthcare insurance, HSA contributions, and eight paid holidays, as well as paid time off.
