  • Continuously evaluate and evolve event strategy to enhance member engagement and community impact.

Event Production & Management

  • Manage all logistical components including venue selection, speaker coordination, catering, audiovisual, décor, and award recipient communications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed event timelines to ensure flawless delivery.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Development

  • Collaborate with the Chamber team to identify, cultivate, and secure event sponsorships and in-kind partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Chamber members, sponsors, and key stakeholders to drive financial support and long-term engagement.

Budget Management & Reporting

  • Partner with the Director of Finance to create, manage, and reconcile event budgets.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility and maximize ROI.
  • Deliver post-event reporting, including performance metrics and recommendations for future improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and volunteers to ensure alignment and shared success.
  • Lead planning meetings and collaborate with Chamber staff to integrate events into broader marketing and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in event planning, production, or related field.
  • Proven track record of executing large-scale, high-visibility events and managing successful fundraising efforts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and solutions-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); experience with event or donor management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, in alignment with event schedules.
