Compensation:

• $125,000–$135,000/year (subject to experience, licensure/certification, and location)
• Qualifies for the HRSA Loan Repayment Program

Job/Practice Description: Family Nurse Practitioner

• Deliver direct primary care and preventive services to children, adolescents, and adults
• Develop therapeutic care plans for prevention, management, and maintenance of good health
• Provide health education and counseling
• Manage acute and chronic illness and urgent care needs, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and mentor other team members
• Provide prenatal/postnatal care for uncomplicated pregnancies, in conjunction with physician partners, as approved by clinical privileges
• Provide family planning counseling and services
• Consult with and refer to physician partners for more complex cases
• Maintain and update EHR documentation per required standards
• Attend trainings, weekly provider/team meetings, and quality improvement projects
• Opportunity to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to NP, medical, and PA students
• May work a fluctuating schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as approved

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
• 3+ years of Primary Care NP experience a plus
