Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $285,000
  • Up to 15% annual performance bonus
  • $3,000 quarterly leadership stipend for each Pharmacist and Physician Assistant supervised
  • 5 weeks (200 hours) of PTO
  • $3,000 CME allowance plus 5 paid CME days
  • Additional $1,000 for licensure, professional memberships, and subscriptions

Position Highlights

  • In this role, you'll provide comprehensive primary care, manage patient documentation, and support high-quality patient care while helping lead clinical operations. Leadership responsibilities include overseeing 4 Physicians, 7 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Physician Assistants, monitoring provider productivity, collaborating with the CMO on workflow optimization and operational initiatives, and coordinating provider schedules and coverage.
  • The organization offers Primary Care, HIV and Hepatitis C treatment, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services. Providers participate in a shared call schedule averaging 1–4 calls per month, with nurse triage handling initial calls. Full-time provider panels typically range from 1,080–1,350 patients, adjusted based on the physician's 50% clinical commitment.


Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Primary care experience with an interest in physician leadership
  • Eligible to obtain or maintain an active New Mexico Medical License
