Role Description:

• Invasive non Interventional Cardiologist
• Denver, CO
• In this role, the physician is trained to perform certain "invasive" procedures to diagnose heart conditions
• Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization (Angiography): Inserting a catheter into the heart's chambers or coronary arteries to inject dye and take X-ray images.
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE): Inserting an ultrasound probe down the esophagus to get high-resolution images of the heart valves and chambers.
• Electrical Cardioversions: Delivering a controlled electric shock to the heart to restore a normal rhythm.
• Loop Recorder Implantation: Placing a small device under the skin to monitor heart rhythms over a long period.
• Managing patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Interpreting non-invasive tests like EKGs, stress tests, and standard echocardiograms.
• Determining which patients require referral to an interventional cardiologist for stenting or to a cardiothoracic surgeon for bypass surgery.
• Call: 1 in 6 Ratio

Requirements:

• Colorado State Medical License
• Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible Invasive Cardiology
