Job/Practice Description: Nurse Practitioner

• Full-time, employed position
• Practice based in an Internal Medicine clinic
• Provides high-quality, cost-effective pain management for patients under the care of the physician, within the state scope of practice
• Collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care
• Provides expanded primary health care services for a caseload of patients in the area of clinical specialization

Requirements:

• MSN or DNP from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
• Pain management experience preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Fundamental knowledge of PC-based applications
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
