Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will oversee all phases of ground-up commercial and mixed-use construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple ground-up projects simultaneously, typically ranging from $10M–$50M+ in value.
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, including preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field operations.
- Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, cost reports, and cash flow projections.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Manage subcontractor performance, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
- Collaborate with superintendents and field staff to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead internal project meetings and provide mentorship to junior staff, including APMs and Project Engineers.
- Ensure all project documentation, including contracts and compliance requirements, are properly executed and maintained.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Project Manager capacity.
- Proven experience managing ground-up commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficient in Procore, MS Project, and/or similar project management software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
