Location: Flanders, NJ


Compensation: $75,000 – $125,000 base + commission (depending on book of business and growth potential)


Start Date: Immediate

Our client, a growing commercial property services company, is seeking a sharp, outgoing, and energized leader to help take the firm to the next level. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, proven B2B commercial real estate connections, and the drive to grow into a “key person” role with strong leadership and operational responsibilities.


About the Role

As the Director of Business Development & Operations, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding our client’s presence in the commercial real estate space. You’ll leverage your book of business and CRE industry relationships to generate new opportunities while also helping to shape and lead operations. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-moving, supportive environment where success is rewarded and growth potential is unlimited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead B2B business development to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with Facility Managers, Property Managers, COOs, CFOs, architects, GCs, and other CRE professionals
  • Actively network through industry events, associations, and one-on-one meetings
  • Execute cold calling, proposal delivery, and follow-up to fill the sales funnel
  • Manage client relationships, upsell services, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn, and email marketing platforms for drip campaigns and business development efforts
  • Collaborate with internal team members, assisting with estimating, project management, and client presentations as needed


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of B2B experience in commercial real estate–related industries (flooring, furniture, janitorial, painting, GC, etc.)
  • Has an existing book of business with the ability to sell $2M+ annually
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow into an operational leadership role (future COO potential)
  • Track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Strong technical skills in CRM platforms, Excel, LinkedIn, and marketing tools
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to “work a room” and leave a lasting impression
  • Positive, energetic, and highly self-motivated with a passion for growth

  • Cleaning / Janitorial Companies
  • Furniture Dealers
  • Flooring Dealers or Manufacturer’s Reps
