Our client is a leading construction management firm specializing in high-end corporate interior fit-out projects in New York City. With a proven track record of delivering innovative and stylish office spaces for corporate clients, we are seeking an experienced Interior Superintendent to lead our projects in the heart of NYC.


Job Summary:

As the Interior Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of corporate office interior fit-out projects in New York City. You will oversee all on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors, and coordinate the various elements necessary to deliver exceptional office spaces for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Supervision:

  • Take full responsibility for the on-site management of corporate office interior fit-out projects in NYC.
  • Ensure that all work is executed according to plans, specifications, and schedule.


Subcontractor Coordination:

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades involved in interior fit-out projects.
  • Foster positive relationships with subcontractors to facilitate efficient project progress.


Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain strict quality control standards to guarantee the highest level of craftsmanship in all aspects of the project.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is executed to the specified standards.


Project Timeline:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and that the project stays on track.
  • Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on schedule.


Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates on project progress and addressing client concerns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations.


Health and Safety:

  • Implement and enforce safety measures and best practices to protect the well-being of all workers on the project site.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of [X] years of experience as an Interior Superintendent in corporate office interior fit-out projects in New York City.
  • Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and NYC building codes and regulations.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing subcontractors and construction teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
