About Our Client:

Our client, a well-established commercial and residential roofing contractor based in Perth Amboy, NJ, is recognized for delivering exceptional quality and service across a wide range of projects. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee roofing projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing roofing projects ranging from $5K to $5M. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Oversee roofing projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client expectations.
• Coordinate project schedules, monitor progress, and resolve any issues that may arise during execution.

Material and Resource Management:

• Manage material orders, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for architects, owners, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication, addressing concerns and providing project updates as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable building codes.

Technical Expertise:

• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and project drawings to guide project execution.
• Ensure all project activities align with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in commercial and residential roofing or construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with MS Project Manager (preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven ability to manage projects of varying sizes, from small-scale repairs to multi-million-dollar installations.
• Experience coordinating with architects, owners, and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with local and state building codes and regulations.
