The Opportunity

Our client is hiring a Project Manager to lead commercial interiors and corporate renovation projects across New Jersey. This role is ideal for a PM who can run work start-to-finish—precon through closeout—while keeping schedule, budget, quality, and safety tightly aligned. (Construction management emphasizes controls across time, cost, scope, quality, and safety.)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout (buyout, schedule, budget, execution, turnover)
• Drive subcontractor coordination and field performance to hit milestones and deliver quality
• Lead project communication: client updates, OAC meetings, action items, follow-ups
• Own project controls: RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, closeout docs
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and jobsite expectations (safety integration is a core CM responsibility)

What Our Client Is Looking For

• 8+ years Project Management experience in commercial/corporate renovation (interiors)
• Strong command of schedule + budget + subcontractor management
• Experience running multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills—confident with clients and field teams

Preferred:

• Corporate office, healthcare, higher-ed, or similar renovation environments
• OSHA 30 (preferred, not required)
