Job Opportunity: Project Manager
Our client, a leader in fire protection and life safety, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare plans and specifications for new and ongoing projects.
- Plan job installations, including reviewing engineering plans, securing permits, estimating and preparing quotes, ordering materials, and scheduling manpower.
- Coordinate project activities and resources, including team members, vendors, and contractors.
- Review project technical progress and perform periodic field inspections to ensure quality.
- Maintain project profitability by estimating costs and preparing proposals as needed.
- Evaluate and assist customers with their fire protection needs.
- Meet with customers, team members, technicians, and other personnel on-site as required.
- Address and resolve issues during the project lifecycle; identify risks and develop contingency plans.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Assist in training technicians on project requirements.
- Serve as an Emergency Service Manager when needed.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or certification in project management preferred.
Experience: 2-5 years of project management experience is required.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Independent judgment and initiative are critical.
