Job Description:
NorthPoint Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading construction management firm based in Westchester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in managing ground-up and renovation projects across various sectors including commercial, corporate, retail, healthcare, and hospitality within the NY 5 Boros region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage project resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate decision-making.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to achieving project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably within the commercial, corporate, retail, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up and renovation projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
