Superintendent – Hotel Renovation & Buildouts (Travel Role)


Location: Projects in New Jersey and along the East Coast (travel required)


Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 + Benefits


About the Role

Our client, a well-established construction management firm, is seeking a Superintendent with flexibility to travel along the East Coast for hotel renovation and improvement projects. This role will also include local projects in New Jersey, with the opportunity to lead high-profile hospitality, retail, and commercial renovations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations, subcontractors, and project schedules across multiple locations.
  • Lead hotel renovation and interior buildout projects along the East Coast.
  • Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize project management technologies (Procore or similar) to track progress and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve challenges.
  • Maintain professional client relationships while representing the firm on the road.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in interior renovations and buildout projects (hotel, retail, commercial, industrial, or warehouse).
  • Strong track record of managing multiple projects with travel involved.
  • Proficiency with construction management technologies.
  • Ability to travel for extended project assignments along the East Coast.


Compensation & Culture

  • Competitive salary: $110,000 – $125,000

Additional Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and walk project sites.
  • Comfortable working in varied weather conditions and on active construction sites.
