Job Description

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, planning and execution of product initiatives from concept through launch. They take the time to understand what Customers need, then source or develop Solutions to meet those needs. They create new product launch strategies and execute plans with sales & marketing teams to drive revenue and adoption, and serve as the liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Engineering. They hold direct ownership of a product’s launch until maturity, then pass off product management to the core Marketing group.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee 2-5 new product launches at a time, ensuring revenue & profitability expectations are met by enabling sales & marketing outcomes.
  • Understand, identify, source and integrate new products into the catalog.
  • Organize & execute product launch strategies for both sales and marketing teams, including training for sales teams, campaigns and content for marketing, sales processes, product documents, and more
  • Oversee the success of product launch strategies; they tweak, and constantly analyze to ensure performance to revenue and profit outcomes.
  • Take products from new initiatives to mature product categories: focuses on converting accounts and then sustaining new business.
  • Work closely with sales & marketing teams, and ensure understanding, competence and confidence in new product offerings.
  • May attend trade shows to source new product ideas.
  • Interview customers, shadow sales consultations, or participate on Voice of Customer committees to identify industry trends or opportunities for new products to help solve Customer challenges.

Skills & Requirements:

  • A Bachelors’ degree, preferably in Sales or Marketing
  • Experience managing consumable portfolios preferred, such as disinfectants or chemistries, PPE, and more
  • Has experience working cross-departmentally, and can help multiple different departments achieve success
  • Experience working with sterile processing or GI labs a plus, but not required
  • Experience working with HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM system greatly preferred
  • Incredibly organized & excels at creating strategic plans
