Overview

A well-established, privately held global specialty chemicals manufacturer is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Leader (Americas) to lead the transformation of its North American supply chain organization.

This is a newly created leadership role focused on building a centralized regional supply chain organization while standardizing planning, procurement, production scheduling, and order fulfillment processes across multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting directly to the Americas General Manager, this individual will partner closely with global supply chain leadership to implement standardized business processes and support the organization's ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supply chain leader who enjoys building organizations, leading change, and driving operational excellence within a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a centralized North American Supply Chain organization.
  • Standardize supply chain processes across four U.S. manufacturing facilities.
  • Drive SAP S/4HANA supply chain process adoption and standardization.
  • Improve production planning, production scheduling, procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment performance.
  • Partner with Global Procurement to align regional execution with global sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory planning.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives as additional supply chain functions transition into the regional organization.
  • Develop consistent KPIs and best practices across manufacturing sites.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Operations, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Global Supply Chain leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing.
  • Experience leading supply chain operations across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Strong background in production planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and S&OP.
  • Experience leading supply chain process standardization and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Experience within the specialty chemicals or broader process manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
