POSITION OVERVIEW

Modus is seeking a hands-on, analytical Director of Supply Chain to build greater structure, visibility and operational discipline across its planning, purchasing, inventory and fulfillment processes.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee purchasing, inventory planning, supply execution, warehouse operations and customer fulfillment. Working closely with international manufacturing partners, domestic suppliers and the Las Vegas operations team, the Director will ensure products are purchased, produced and delivered accurately, efficiently and on time while improving inventory performance, supplier execution and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, Purchasing & Supply Execution

  • Develop inventory, demand and replenishment plans that balance customer demand, supplier lead times and inventory investment.
  • Manage purchasing, inventory replenishment and approximately 500 SKUs.
  • Coordinate production schedules, material availability and delivery commitments with international manufacturing partners and domestic suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve production, delivery and inventory issues.
  • Leverage NetSuite and KPI reporting to improve planning accuracy, inventory visibility and purchasing effectiveness.


Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment

  • Lead the Las Vegas warehouse through the Warehouse Manager, overseeing receiving, inventory control, light assembly, kitting and customer fulfillment.
  • Ensure products are accurately received, assembled, configured and shipped according to customer specifications.
  • Improve inventory accuracy, order accuracy, warehouse productivity and fulfillment performance.
  • Support customer deployments, expedited orders and outbound logistics.
  • Continuously improve warehouse processes, workflows and operating efficiency.

  • Freight & Transportation Management
  • Import & Customs, Freight, Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Tariffs/Duties, International Freight, Landed-Cost capture and Import Documentation
  • Production capacity planning


Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop KPIs, SOPs and reporting that improve operational visibility and execution.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, supplier issues and fulfillment errors while implementing corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Executive Leadership to align supply chain priorities.
  • Lead and develop the Warehouse Manager while building scalable processes that support future growth.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory planning, materials management or operations.
  • Strong background in demand planning, purchasing, inventory management and replenishment.
  • Experience coordinating production with international manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers or domestic suppliers.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, fulfillment or value-added distribution operations.
  • Experience within an outsourced manufacturing or product-based environment strongly preferred.
  • NetSuite or comparable ERP experience highly preferred.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related discipline preferred.
