Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, helping shape company strategy and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for procurement, purchasing, inventory planning, and materials management.
  • Establish and execute sourcing strategies that ensure the timely availability of materials while balancing cost, quality, and service objectives.
  • Develop strong supplier partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements, and implement processes to monitor supplier performance, mitigate risk, and improve supply continuity.
  • Manage domestic and international supplier relationships to support business growth and customer requirements.
  • Partner with operations, sales, engineering, and finance to align purchasing strategies with demand planning and inventory objectives.
  • Oversee inventory optimization, product lifecycle planning, and material availability across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and performance metrics that improve supply chain efficiency and scalability.
  • Perform other leadership responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management.
  • Demonstrated success leading procurement teams within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, and managing inventory performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical, ERP, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in industrial products, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or other complex supply chain environments is preferred.
