Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Program Manager to help drive procurement strategy, supplier performance, and operational excellence across a growing organization. Position Overview

The Senior Procurement Program Manager serves as a trusted business partner responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, supporting procurement operations, and driving continuous improvement. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize purchasing processes, improve supplier performance, and identify opportunities for automation, reporting, and operational efficiencies.

Success requires strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, project management skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across a diverse portfolio of indirect goods and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Lead competitive sourcing events and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop category strategies that align with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to balance commercial value with operational and business requirements.
  • Manage contract renewals and supplier performance throughout the relationship lifecycle.

Procurement Operations

  • Support purchasing processes from requisition through supplier engagement.
  • Improve procurement workflows and purchasing compliance.
  • Partner with finance and suppliers to resolve purchasing and payment issues.
  • Help standardize procurement policies and best practices.

Process Improvement & Technology

  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes through automation and digital tools.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that improve organizational visibility.
  • Support implementation and optimization of procurement technologies and enterprise systems.
  • Leverage data analytics to improve sourcing decisions and operational performance.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with finance, legal, operations, engineering, technology, and other business functions to understand procurement needs.
  • Translate business requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Present procurement recommendations and performance insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Approximately 10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies across multiple categories.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with procurement, ERP, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheet analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled workflows, and digital procurement technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and process improvement methodologies.

Industry Background

Experience supporting procurement within technology, industrial, professional services, manufacturing, business services, or other complex enterprise organizations is preferred.
