Position Purpose Responsible for steering the operational strategies and efficiencies within the organization. Oversees workforce planning and ensures appropriate staffing plans are in place to meet business needs while optimizing labor costs. Leverages a critical blend of leadership, strategic planning, and process optimization, to enhance overall performance and profitability. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities • Leads and motivates operations management teams to achieve excellence in performance and service delivery. Provides leadership, education, support, motivation and direction to senior management and direct reports. Defines goals and KPl's for each team. • Creates and maintains standard operating procedures for customer facing SLAs and ensure that systems data are maintained, accurate, and cost effective. Works with supply chain and warehouse teams to design processes/standards and works with the warehouse managers on a plan to enforce and monitor compliance. • Directs operations of the business and its various components, ensuring compliance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations. Ensures that health and safety regulations are followed to provide a safe working environment for employees. • Develops and manages annual operating budgets for warehouse and distribution in conjunction with field VP Operations and COO. • Oversees the scheduling of physical inventory in all facilities including company warehouses, 3PLs, and vendor locations. Manages inventory control functions, processes, and operations. • Collaborates with business leadership to align the operations department with the overall business strategy and objectives. Serves as liaison between corporate and field management. • Reviews and interprets financial and operating information. Performs analysis, generates reports, and designs processes to increase inventory accuracy and team productivity. • Works with IT and continuous improvement to help define and deploy systems, automation, and process improvements to support higher volume, future growth, and best in class facilities with a focus on process and operational consistency to reduce cost and improve performance. Preferred Qualifications • 7-10 years related operations experience in a large organization. • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 1O+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact. • Problems are complex and difficult. Solutions require complicated, extensive analysis and detailed investigation. • Sets or changes the operational plans/goals of an area/business. • Leads major business processes or support functions to execute company strategies
