Position Summary

Seeking a hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations of the Phoenix branch, including logistics, warehousing, sales, and service departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
  • Oversees daily operations of the Phoenix branch, including logistics, warehousing, sales, and service departments.
  • Ensures departments operate efficiently, collaboratively, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Translates ownership direction into actionable operational plans and priorities
  • Identifies operational gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and proposes solutions to ownership.


Sales & Service Operations

  • Oversees the execution and daily management of sales activities and customer engagement.
  • Supports the development and rollout of new sales and service capabilities.
  • Ensures service operations meet defined quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Coordinates closely with Canpump headquarters on sales initiatives, product availability,and customer support.


Team Leadership & People Management

  • Leads, coaches, and manages department supervisors and staff.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops employees in alignment with approved staffing plans.
  • Sets performance expectations and ensures accountability across teams.
  • Promotes a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Acts as the primary on-site representative for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong operational planning and execution skills. financial literacy with the ability to interpret reports
  • Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day priorities while planning for growth.\
  • Practical, hands-on management style with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively within defined authority and escalation structures.


Physical Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
  • Stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear regularly.
  • Have hand dexterity to file documents and use office equipment.
  • Have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to operate equipment in close working conditions requiring good eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to use both hands and both feet to operate equipment pedals, levers, steering wheels, and buttons.
  • Reaching, extending hands and arms above shoulder and in any direction.
  • Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
