The Role
- Provide performance enhancement and tailored strength and conditioning programs.
- Conduct initial evaluations and design individualized training programs for fighter aircrew personnel.
- Maintain records for all fighter aircrew personnel.
- Offer prehabilitative services to strengthen the musculoskeletal (MSK) system and reduce neck and back injury risks.
- Develop MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education programs to enhance injury resistance.
- Refer individuals to advanced medical care when necessary.
- Advise unit commanders and personnel on injury prevention strategies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in fitness and injury prevention programs.
- Develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fitness programs.
The Background Profile
- U.S. Citizen
- Master’s Degree in Athletic Training and must be a current licensed Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) process required

2 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer

Extensive hands-on experience with professional and/or collegiate sports teams
- Experience and certification in the field of strength and conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association is strongly preferred
