The Company:

MV Power Solutions is a Denver Metro-based electrical contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial projects with precision and reliability. They've built strong, trusted relationships with general contractors by doing what they say they will — on time and on budget.

Over the last 12 years, they've grown to nearly 100 employees and generated roughly $25M in revenue last year, with nearly 90% of their work coming from repeat customers.

The Position:

MV Power is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is a great fit for someone who's spent a couple years in commercial electrical and wants to build a real career on the estimating side — learning from an experienced team while taking on more ownership over time.

You'll work closely with the Chief Estimator on take-offs, pricing, and vendor quotes, and get exposure to the full bid process from drawings to proposal.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze drawings and specs for commercial electrical projects
  • Prepare take-offs using Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar
  • Build accurate, competitive cost estimates
  • Review and compare subcontractor and vendor quotes
  • Support proposal prep, including breakout pricing and value engineering ideas
  • Coordinate with project management and field teams during handoff
  • Communicate with GCs and vendors throughout pre-construction

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in commercial electrical (estimating, PM, or field with strong take-off exposure)
  • Accubid experience required; familiarity with Live Count or similar a plus
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and specs
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and good under deadlines
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator who's not afraid to ask questions
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with PM and field teams

Salary + Benefits:

  • Base salary: $65,000–$110,000 DOE + bonus potential
  • 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays
  • 50% employer-paid medical insurance for employee
  • Dental and vision insurance options available
  • 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer match
  • Professional development and paid education opportunities
  • Referral program
