The Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and fiercely autonomous Estimator / Project Manager to take complete, "cradle-to-grave" ownership of our demolition and excavation projects. In this combined role, you will act as the single point of contact for our clients. You will build the project from scratch—winning the bid through sharp estimating, managing the contracts and logistics, and directly leading our in-house operators and field crews on the job site. The ideal candidate is a "dirt and demo" expert who thrives equally behind an estimating screen and in the cab of a truck, coordinating a field crew.


Responsibilities:

  • Review construction blueprints, civil drawings, and structural plans to perform accurate quantity takeoffs for earthwork, mass grading, and utility installations.
  • Calculate precise costs including structural teardowns, interior selective demolition, dust control, and municipal permitting.
  • Prepare and submit competitive, accurate bid proposals to General Contractors and property owners.
  • Act as the primary, turnkey liaison for GCs, owners, and municipal engineers from contract award to closeout.
  • Track project budgets, job costing, daily production rates, and project profitability against the original estimate.
  • Secure all necessary demolition permits, sewer/water tap permits, and manage state/local environmental and asbestos notifications.
  • Author, negotiate, and execute client Change Orders and RFIs in a timely manner.
  • Directly supervise daily field operations, ensuring crews run safely, efficiently, and precisely according to project plans.
  • Coordinate the daily movement and deployment of heavy equipment and mass hauling/dump truck cycles.
  • Directly manage foundation excavation digs, backfilling, soil compaction, and wet utility (water/sewer service lateral) connections.
  • Maintain a zero-incident job site by strictly enforcing OSHA compliance, trench safety, and structural drop-zone safety protocols.
  • Leverage your experience to help us win, estimate, and manage more commercial contracts to drive company revenue. 


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience combining estimating, project management, and/or field supervision within the demolition and excavation sectors.
  • Understanding of Colorado soil mechanics, mass grading, trench safety, structural demolition sequences, and utility tap installations.
  • Direct, respectful communicator who can earn the respect of a seasoned, tight-knit field team. 
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for daily travel to local Denver-metro job sites).


Salary & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $95,000 – $105,000+ BOE
  • Performance Bonus: Profit-sharing or project-profitability bonuses based on hitting estimated margins.
