EHS Specialist (Manufacturing)

A leading manufacturer in the greater Tulsa, OK area is searching for an EHS Specialist with strong experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in ensuring compliance and advancing safety culture across the plant.
Key Details:
- Salary: Up to $85,000 base, depending on experience
- Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance considered for exceptional non-local candidates
- Bilingual fluency required
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives across the facility
- Drive improvements in site-wide EHS policies and compliance with federal, state, and internal standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, IATF 16949)
- Facilitate a proactive, injury-free workplace and lead EHS training and risk-reduction activities
- Oversee audits, investigations, corrective actions, and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health, Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish
- Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities
