Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system design for commercial facilities.
• Develop pre-construction budgets from preliminary and schematic designs.
• Ensure compliance with code requirements and client specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, field crews, and clients.
• Establish and implement engineering standards and best practices.
• Drive innovation in design-build methods to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) in California.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical engineering for commercial facilities.
• Proven leadership and team management track record.
• Strong background in design-build project delivery, especially tenant improvements and retrofits.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software.
• Comfortable working on-site in San Francisco.
