Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Heavy Civil / Earthwork projects and a solid understanding of project execution, scheduling, and cost control. This role will work closely with our Estimating team and Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Heavy Highway Sitework projects from contract award through closeout.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Field Operations to plan and execute projects.
- Review and execute Contract and Subcontract agreements.
- Track and report job progress, production quantities, and project costs.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Utilize software such as AGTEK Gradework, Trimble Business Center, and HCSS HeavyJob to support project management functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in Heavy Civil / Earthwork projects is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with AGTEK Gradework, HCSS HeavyJob, Hard Dollar, or similar project management software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills.
- AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
