Drive Production. Build Teams. Own the Operation.
We’re hiring a hands-on Quarry Manager to lead operations at our Walpole, NH site, a key hub for our aggregate and materials division. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground leadership role for someone who thrives in rugged environments and knows how to run a crushing plant with precision.
You’ll take full ownership of the site's performance, production, safety, and team development — bringing energy, structure, and accountability to the operation.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-output aggregate crushing plant.
- Manage a team of operators, mechanics, and supervisors — building culture, safety practices, and morale.
- Monitor and manage production targets, safety metrics, and equipment performance.
- Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, equipment utilization, and throughput.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and resource planning for the quarry.
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and external subcontractors/vendors.
- Regularly report to the Division Manager on KPIs, staffing needs, safety issues, and project status.
- Stay hands-on and visible across the site — not a desk job.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years running an aggregate/crushing plant; 10+ years in construction or materials management.
- Strong track record of leading site teams in a production-focused environment.
- Solid knowledge of mining, materials, or quarry operations.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, equipment coordination, and safety enforcement.
- Strong communicator who can mentor teams and hold people accountable.
- Comfortable working outdoors in rugged environments with moving machinery and weather exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mining Engineering, or related field is preferred – or equivalent experience.
What’s In It For You
- $125,000–$150,000 base salary
- Company vehicle or $1,000/month vehicle allowance
- Performance-based bonus
- Full relocation package considered for the right candidate
- Full suite of medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance
- Opportunity to run your own operation with high autonomy and executive trust
