Seeking two Special Projects Project Managers to join its rapidly growing Special Projects Division.
Unlike traditional PM roles, this position requires complete project ownership from estimating through closeout. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
This is a true "soup-to-nuts" role involving estimating, procurement, financial management, customer relationships, and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage special projects ranging from $5,000 to $2 million
- Develop estimates, scopes of work, and project proposals
- Handle project procurement, purchasing, and scheduling
- Maintain direct relationships with owners and municipal clients
- Oversee project financial performance and forecasting
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in site walks, scope development, and customer meetings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, or Special Projects
- Estimating experience strongly preferred
- JOC (Job Order Contracting) experience highly desirable
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- HVAC and Plumbing experience preferred but not required
