Position Overview:
Seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager who will play an influential role in delivering high-impact projects for public and private clients. This position involves site design, utility coordination, stormwater management, permitting, and construction observation. The right candidate will lead technical teams and personally contribute to producing high-quality construction documents and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering design projects from concept through completion.
- Produce detailed plans, specifications, calculations, and other required deliverables on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee and mentor technical teams to ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and QA/QC procedures.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, clearly communicating technical information and project updates.
- Identify and support business development opportunities for the civil engineering department.
Qualifications:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida — Required
- 6–10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with strong exposure to:
- Land development projects including commercial, mixed-use, institutional, and municipal
- Utility design (water/wastewater), stormwater systems, and small pump facilities
- Permitting processes with local regulatory agencies
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D — Required
- Experience producing final construction deliverables and managing project schedules and budgets
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
