Senior Industrial Estimator
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year (based on experience!)

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Estimator to lead hard bids and negotiated proposals for manufacturing, power, and energy projects. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze proposal specifications, drawings, and pre-bid meetings to define the scope of work and estimate requirements.
- Develop detailed trade scopes of work and prepare comprehensive backup documentation.

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/supplier proposals, ensuring competitiveness and completeness.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions based on project feasibility, engineering quality, and material availability.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, and suppliers, upholding ethical business practices.
- Assist Operations in project execution, including change orders, extra work pricing, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with the Proposal Coordinator to develop compelling, professional proposals, including schedules, project narratives, and organizational charts.
- Lead conceptual estimating efforts to support business development and client engagement.

Negotiate and issue subcontracts, ensuring favorable terms and scope alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of experience in construction estimating within industrial, manufacturing, power, or energy projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project).
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, MC2, or other estimating software.
- Strong conceptual estimating skills, cost control techniques, and value engineering expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for bid clarifications and contract negotiations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within teams.
