We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth throughout the NY–VA region. This individual will generate new client relationships, nurture existing partnerships, and represent RCS Construction as a trusted advisor for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction sales or commercial real estate development, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to secure multimillion-dollar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, owners, architects, and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers in industries such as retail, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use development.
- Partner with internal teams to align client needs with RCS’s full-service offerings, from design and planning to construction management and commissioning.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand market share in NY, NJ, MD, VA, and surrounding areas.
- Track pipeline activity, proposals, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
- Represent RCS Construction at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction business development, commercial real estate, or related industries.
- Established network with developers, property owners, or corporate real estate leaders preferred.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with regular travel across the region.
