Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of multifamily, senior living, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects. This role offers exposure to all phases of construction, including preconstruction, procurement, project controls, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and closeout.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of commercial construction experience and is looking to grow into a Project Manager role while working alongside experienced project and field leaders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Track project schedules, procurement logs, and long-lead materials.
  • Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost reports, and forecasting updates.
  • Assist with contract administration and document control.
  • Maintain project records and ensure timely distribution of project information.
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and coordinate field activities.


Preferred Background

  • 2–5 years of experience with a General Contractor.
  • Experience on multifamily, senior living, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Exposure to ground-up construction preferred.
  • Understanding of construction documents, plans, specifications, and project processes.
  • Familiarity with project financials, budgeting, and cost tracking.
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
