Associate Director, Account Services

The Associate Director, Account Services leads media strategy, planning, buying, campaign execution, and client service for assigned accounts. This role requires strong experience in linear television and DRTV planning and buying, as well as the ability to confidently lead client relationships and present strategic recommendations.

Knowledge of additional media channels is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day account activity and serve as a primary client contact.
• Develop and oversee media plans and integrated media strategies.
• Manage linear and DRTV planning, buying, execution, optimization, and reporting.
• Partner closely with DRTV buyers to align strategy and performance.
• Present, sell, and defend agency recommendations to clients.
• Lead weekly client calls, meetings, presentations, and campaign reviews.
• Analyze budgets, media delivery, response data, and campaign results.
• Oversee campaign plans, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage client and internal requests, timelines, and deliverables.
• Train, mentor, and supervise planners and account team members.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support account growth, new business development, and agency initiatives.
• Interview candidates for open positions within the group.

Requirements

• 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in linear and DRTV media planning and buying.
• Proven client-facing experience and ability to lead senior-level conversations.
• Thorough understanding of direct marketing and media planning.
• Knowledge of additional media channels is preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to evaluate budgets, performance data, and campaign results.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage, delegate, train, and motivate a team.
